Getting down early morning from plane, and after a short rest in the popular and quiet area of Heroismo, we met a warm and friendly young man, cultivated, found of both his city and the meeting with other cultures, and wearing a green scarf. He took us wandering the whole afternoon in Oporto, making us feeling it’s soul, it’s history and architecture, it’s present culture – both official and underground.
We spent, following – partly, as french people like to do it on their own way ;-) – threee more days in the city, just as if we had been kindly introduced to her, and somehow familiar.
Our trip was unexpected : the booking was easy and really fast, just the day befor we travelled.
